2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSIONS

International student admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year will take place between July 1 and November 30, 2026. Foreign nationals who have graduated from a secondary education institution (high school) may apply for the international student quotas at Izmir Konak Vocational School.

Applications will be accepted from candidates who meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Foreign nationals (provided that they have not studied at or graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye [excluding those enrolled in embassy schools, international private educational institutions registered in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to Türkiye within the scope of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education]);
  2. Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but received permission from the Ministry of Interior to renounce Turkish citizenship, and those who certify that they hold a document regarding the exercise of rights granted by Law No. 5203 for their underage children registered in the renunciation document;
  3. Dual nationals who were foreign nationals by birth and later acquired Turkish citizenship;
  4. Turkish nationals who completed their high school education in a foreign country (excluding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus);
  5. Nationals of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) who reside in the TRNC and have completed their secondary education in the TRNC with GCE AL examination results.

All candidates who have enrolled in and/or graduated from secondary education institutions in Türkiye (excluding those enrolled in embassy schools, international private educational institutions registered in the MOBIS system, and foreign nationals brought to Türkiye within the scope of projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education) will be admitted to higher education institutions in Türkiye or TRNC only through the YKS as of 2026.

Required Documents for Final Registration:

  1. Application form
  2. Passport
  3. Proof of legal stay in Türkiye:
    • Residence permit card for applicants with a residence permit
    • Entry-exit stamps on the passport for applicants from visa-exempt countries
    • Student visa for applicants from countries without visa exemption
  4. High school diploma (original and notarized Turkish translation)
  5. High school transcript (original and notarized Turkish translation)
  6. Turkish proficiency certificate at minimum B1 level (Must be obtained from TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute. Not required from applicants who completed high school in Türkiye.)
  7. 4 colored passport-size photos

Tuition Fees for International Students:

For all programs, the tuition fee for the 2026–2027 academic year is $2000.
